I continue to receive a number of hits for searches on "Kalachakra 2004."
If you were there, I'd love to hear from you. Memories. What was most precious to you. Teachings that resonated. 6-session practice. Etcetera.

One practice resource that I haven't yet explored is http://www.kalachakranet.org This is an international network of people who are interested in the Kalachakra. There's a password protected section for people who have received the initiation.
BTW, I was in section B1, Row 10, seat 6.
It is good to see you beginning to write about the Kalachakra. While you were gone, my 17 and 15 year old grandkids moved in while my daughter regroups. Keep us in your prayers, please, and I will keep you in mine.

I was in section C4, row 6, seat 10. Loved the time we spent on dependant origination. Sat with some lovely Tibetans that helped me understand certain aspects of the initiation. Still amazed at my good fortune to have been able to participate in such an incredible event.

Thanks for posting, Ekova. I loved the work on dependant origination, too. It's the first time I've had extensive teaching on it.
Wasn't it amazing to be able to experience this with other Tibetan's? I sat next to a young Tibetan man. He missed much of the day because he was working as a volunteer. But it was so touching to hear him chanting some of the Tibetan prayers when the Dalai Lama and monks did.
I, too, feel indescribably blessed. And I'm already wondering when I can see H.H. Dalai Lama again.
Fran and Anita, and those of you who've asked... I'm still wanting to write about Kalachakra. Lot's going on.

I emailed the CTAO about a month ago to let them know how well the volunteer staff did over the course of the event. There was a lady near me that was only able to sit down about half the time, otherwise she was helping others...
Hearing H.H. the Dalai Lama, the Sanghas and the Tibetans chanting was absolutely unbelievable.
Like I said before, just so fortunate to have been there. So much more to learn.
